Using Your Air Compressor as a Vacuum Pump
Did you know that your air compressor can double as a vacuum pump? With a simple modification, you can harness the intake side of your air compressor to create a powerful vacuum, ideal for a wide range of applications.
Quick Setup Guide:
- Remove the Intake Filter
Locate the intake port of your air compressor, where you’ll typically find a threaded air filter. Unscrew and remove this filter to open the intake port. - Attach Our Inline Filter
To protect your compressor from dust and debris, attach our specially designed inline filter directly to the intake port. Our filter ensures clean airflow and optimal performance when using your compressor as a vacuum. - Connect the Vacuum Hose
Next, attach the vacuum hose to the inline filter. Make sure the connection is tight and secure to avoid any loss of suction. Now, you’re ready to use the vacuum function of your compressor!
Why It Works:
Your air compressor operates by creating a high-pressure airflow. However, on the intake side, it creates a powerful suction as it draws air in, similar to a dedicated vacuum pump. By opening the intake port and adding our inline filter and hose, you can easily repurpose this suction power for any application that requires a vacuum.
